Have the photographer take them in an interesting natural environment, preferably in a few different locations. Just keep in mind that you want this photo to come across as mysterious and intriguing, not creepy.
They are risky in pictures because they can be interpreted so many ways depending on everything from what else your body language is doing, to the lighting, to the mood of the viewer when they see your picture. You want to convey that you look this good all the time.
A picture of you dressed nicely at a rooftop bar, a restaurant on the beach, or a yacht could have the same effect. A group photo should never, ever, ever be your primary photo.
Be true to yourself so that you can build a strong foundation for whatever kind of relationship you are interested in. Use another photo of you travelling, participating in a fun hobby, or doing something you love. An organically grown Instagram account, showcasing your favorite pictures of yourself, holidays, friends, landscapes, whatever you find interesting, will lend some additional insight into your personality and complement your bio.
